I offer virtual and in-person individual psychotherapy appointments to individuals aged 18+ whose residence is in Ontario, Canada.

If you are in the Niagara Region, I provide in-person therapy sessions in the north end of St. Catharines, Ontario.

Individual Psychotherapy

  • My individual session fees are offered at rates starting at $140 per 60-minutes. In Ontario, Canada Individual Psychotherapy Session rates vary between $80-$240 per session.

    Sliding scale rates are available. Please let me know if you have financial concerns and a sliding scale option may be collaboratively discussed.

  • Terms for payment are due on appointment date and time using electronic transfer and accepted credit card transactions. Receipts will be provided by email when payment is received.

    Many insurance plans will cover psychotherapy services by a Registered Psychotherapist. Please note that a Registered Psychotherapist is different than a Social Worker, Psychologist, and a Psychiatrist. Please carefully check with your insurance provider prior to scheduling sessions to ensure your plan covers services rendered by a Registered Psychotherapist. Receipts from services can be submitted to you insurance provider to claim reimbursement. Third-party billing is not offered at this time.

  • Please provide 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Missed appointments or late cancellations will result in full payment for the session. To cancel or reschedule, please email as soon as possible.

Therapy Services

  • CBT

    Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) focuses on understanding the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Through CBT, you will learn to become aware of your core beliefs and automatic thoughts. You will learn to challenge yourself, develop coping strategies, and gain skills for behavioural, cognitive, and emotional change!

  • DBT

    Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is a psychotherapy approach that focuses on building skills in four domains including: mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Through DBT, you will develop insight into your behaviours as well as develop healthy ways of coping. You will also learn how to effectively regulate your emotions improve your relationships with others.

  • EMDR

    Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a psychotherapy approach that enables you to both access and process distressing memories. Through EMDR’s eight-staged model, you will be able to form new associations, desensitize triggers, and develop new skills/resources for healing. EMDR also allows you to gain new insights about yourself and your functioning!

  • IFS

    Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy works to understand the inner parts of you that maintain your patterns of behaviour. In IFS therapy, you will gain insight into the parts of you that act in preventative ways, parts that act in reactionary ways, and the parts that hold your burdens from the past. IFS therapy allows for all parts of you to be seen, heard, and witnessed while your core Self engages in inner healing and compassionate transformation!

  • Mindfulness

    Mindfulness

    Mindfulness is paying attention to the present moment, on purpose, without judgment. Mindfulness teaches you to learn to be present, curious, and centred. Through integrating mindfulness into your life, you will develop capacity to attune to yourself in a curious and non-critical way, allowing you to release stress and reach a state of calmness and tranquility!

  • Vagus Nerve

    Intrinsic to the mind-body connection is the vagus nerve. The vagus nerve runs inside each of us from our brainstem to all of our vital and major organs. Practices to improve your vagus nerve functioning build stress resilience by allowing you to calm your body, return to a regulated & balanced state, and improve your nervous system’s functioning for better physical health and emotional stability!
